The 2007 Barbershop Harmony Society International quartet , MaxQ, performed on Bozeman's Annual Show May 9th & 10th, 2008. You can find out more about MaxQ by logging into their website: www.maxquartet.com
"Sagebrush, Saddles, & Spurs" was the theme of this year's show.
"Old Cowboy Bob" (Jay Winchester) told his grandson "Little Robbie" (Anthony Springer) stories of his illustrious history as a cowboy in Montana's wild west.
The Boothill Betterment Society directed "Young Cowboy Bob" (Richard Passmore) to Laredo, Texas, where he could find some cows for his cattle drive.
Bridger Blend Quartet took us to the "Y'all Come Back Saloon", where Cowboy Bob met his wife.
I Wanna Be a Cowboy's Sweetheart!
If only Cowboy Bob had been with General Custer at the Battle of the Little Bighorn...
this might not have happened!
The Bridger Mountain Harmony Chorus sang two songs, then joined the Chord Rustlers to sing America the Beautiful.
The show closed with the entire cast and barbershoppers from the audience reminding everyone to Keep the Whole World Singing.
At the afterglow, Gary Tschache, our ticket guru, was honored as a member of the Chord Rustlers of the Barbershop Harmony Society.
One afterglow highlight was when MaxQ's Jeff Oxley joined 3 Bloxhams for a stirring rendition of This Is the Moment.

We were thrilled to have MaxQ sing on our show! They were terrific!!
MaxQ joined us for at the afterglow, where they wowed us with even more of their outstanding harmonies.
Many of the songs on our 2009 show were songs that won Academy awards over the years. Held April 17 and 18 at the Grace Bible Church, our guest quartet was FRED, the 1999 international quartet champions. Their comedy puts the "HA" in harmony! Read about them on their website, www.fredquartet.com
